It's the first of it's kind in Christian county. The Castlewood Senior Living development has *three major living arrangements...all in one.

"It really came down to the continuum care facilities around that offer independent living, assisted living, or maybe memory care, but no combination in Christian county." said Anthony Taylor, director of sales and marketing for Arrow Senior Living.

Taylor believes the versatility will benefit seniors in the Ozark and Nixa area.

"If they move to a community like ours, they don't have to look at moving to another community once their needs progress."

And Castlewood has helped that need in this community -- with 90 percent of rooms being leased and 100 percent being reserved.

"Our demographics are starting to age in Nixa, we were a town where people came to have their children and a lot of those people decided to stay." said Brian Steele, the mayor of Nixa, "So you end up with people like myself, the 45-65, the people who want to bring their families close to them as they grow older."

Mayor Steele says that senior citizens are starting to make up a big portion of Nixa's residents.

"That is the fastest growing demographic coming into Nixa are those seniors."

Residents of Castlewood say it is a great addition to the community.

"It is a great place to live, and I'm glad I'm here. I'm here because I want to be."
