Forest Park North Apartments is a $7.3 million new construction affordable family community in Joplin, Missouri developed by O’Reilly Development Company, LLC, in partnership with Economic Security Corporation of the Southwest Area (ESCSWA). Located on 7 acres at 2801 S. Adele Avenue, the 37,920-sq.-ft. community includes 40 units with an office/community building. The defined focus with this community is to provide affordable housing options for the citizens of Joplin, in particular, Veterans with Special Needs. The community has the support of the Economic Security Corporation of the Southwest Area (ESCSWA) and access to their extensive resources to best serve the residents. Forest Park North is a single purpose entity with joint ownership and management by the principles of O’Reilly Development and ESCSWA.
Development Characteristics
Aptly named Forest Park North due to its proximity to neighboring Forest Park Apartments. Although not contiguous to Forest Park Apartments by road, it benefits the existing 2013 built Forest Park community by offering an office/community building, on-site management, and maintenance to the older community as they are jointly managed.
Conveniently located near 26th street and McClelland Blvd., the Forest Park North development consists of ten (10) one-bedroom/one-bath, twenty (20) two-bedroom/two-bath, and ten (10) three-bedroom/two-bath units. The site sits near Joplin’s Mercy Park, Irving Elementary School, and multiple medical facilities and hospitals. Forest Park North borders Forest Park Apartments while easily accessible to shopping, recreational amenities, hospitals and clinics, schools, and employment opportunities all within one mile.
