Nixa Chamber President Tammy Mast said that most people who call or visit the chamber asking for relocation information are moving for the same reason: To be closer to their grandchildren. That makes sense, considering a few months ago, Money magazine named Nixa as one of the best places to retire. So, the opening of Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa certainly makes sense.

O’Reilly Development Co. LLC completed the final phase of The Castlewood Senior Living in July, adding 104 independent living units to the 40 assisted living and 13 memory care units that opened earlier this year at 1538 N. Old Castle Road in Nixa. “It’s a continuum-of-care community, which means the residents can age in place and stay within the community that they’ve adapted to,” said O’Reilly Development partner Denise Heintz.
