Pat O’Reilly
Investing in People
Co-Founder and CEO Patrick E. O’Reilly says he’s especially excited about the recent promotions and new hires.
Ten-year company veteran Kaylee Ellis is now Director of Operations, bringing expertise in leasing, property and asset management to her new role. Hunter Hein was promoted to Partner and Chief Financial Officer from Director of Development, following nearly a decade at O’Reilly Development.
New faces include Project Executive Cole DeBerg, Director of Asset Management Brooke Martin and Investment Analyst Will Berry, each with experience that builds the company’s bench.
Denise Heintz
The new team members build on a legacy that includes O’Reilly, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Denise Heintz, Controller Beverly Anderson, Development Project Manager Marty Duda and Operations Coordinator Kaelyn Dougherty.
Senior Living
O’Reilly Development continues its tradition of quality senior living, with openings of The Summit Senior Living at Chenal Valley in Little Rock, AR; The Crestone Senior Living in Olathe, KS; The Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, KS; and The Boulevard Senior Living of St. Peters in St. Peters, Missouri.
Projects under development include The Barrymore Senior Living, opening in late 2025 in Kansas City, and The Riverside Senior Living in Maumelle, AR, opening in 2027. More communities will break ground in 2026.
With over 69 million Baby Boomers turning 65 by 2030, the need for senior housing is greater than ever. Additionally, the Covid-era construction slowdown has led to a shortfall of 50% in 2025.
Hein commends the O’Reilly Development team: “What sets our communities apart isn’t just the craftsmanship or best-in-class operations—it’s the warmth and sense of belonging you feel the moment you walk through the doors. From thoughtfully selecting each location to building with purpose and delivering excellence in daily operations, every detail is designed to make people feel at home.”
Multifamily
O’Reilly Development continues its momentum in multifamily developments.
Mountaintop Homes in Mt. Vernon, developed with Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri, opened in late 2024. This 42-townhome mixed-income development features eight homes reserved for Veterans and their families facing housing insecurity. Amenities include support services, an office/clubhouse and a playground.
Slated for a phased opening in 2026, The Meadows at Wicklow in Nixa is part of a multi-phase, master-planned development adjoining The Villages at Wicklow subdivision and The Castlewood Senior Living continuum of care community. It features a variety of floorplans, modern finishes and energy efficient appliances. Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, dog park, outdoor pavilion and walking trail.
Climate-Controlled Self-Storage
O’Reilly Development is entering the climate-controlled self-storage sector, targeting underserved markets where it already has a development presence, including Wichita, Lee’s Summit, Kansas City and Fayetteville. The new facilities will offer safety, cleanliness and convenience.
Moving Forward
From its Southwest Missouri roots, O’Reilly Development has grown into an industry leader known for quality and impact. Backed by a strong, collaborative team, the company remains focused on its mission of Making Lives Better in the communities it serves.
Let’s Build the Future Together.
